Why I Do This

My life has always revolved around movement.

As a kid, I was riding bikes until the sun set. I high school, I ran long distance like my life depended on it. As I reached early adulthood, I loved the challenge of CrossFit, then competitive powerlifting.

 

Interests, goals, and motivations changed with the seasons of life, but it has always included an outlet to push myself physically and mentally.

And I got injured, too.

First it was chronic lower back. Then it was shoulder instability.

MDs gave me pain medications and told me to rest, or stop and find another activity. “Maybe it’s just not for you.”

Insurance-based PT’s gave me a hand out of generic exercises and a band. “Just take it slow.”

It felt like no one was really listening. No one was taking the time to help me find a solution despite the fact that my sport and activities meant so much to me.

It was an endless cycle and I needed to do something different.

I started reading books like Anatomy Trains. I actually rehabbed myself, multiple times. Then my friends, too. And I saw how this system could be so much better. 

When I decided to pursue chiropractic, it was with the intention to help: to help people live full, active, confident lives. Movement is powerful, not just for our physical health, but our mental health.

So yeah, I’m a chiropractor...

but I have the capacity to do so much more than just adjustments.

When I created Elite Motion Chiro, it was with the intention to follow in the footsteps of others in my field that understood the same thing: adjustments are just a tool to support recovery, not the solution

Real solutions to physical injuries and set-backs take time and intention. It requires pushing our bodies progressively and trending upwards.

As a chiropractor, I am uniquely qualified to do both active (progressive movement) and passive treatment (soft tissue work), making Elite Motion Chiro your one-stop-shop for sport rehab & injury treatment.

I want this knowledge to be accessible. So whether you choose me or not, just know that:

Rehab doesn't have to be overwhelming or complicated. It just needs strategy and consistency.

When I was at my peak, I achieved a major Deadlift PR of 650lb at USPA Drug-Tested National Championships. And a couple months after, I tore my abductor (inner thigh) on a 365lb rep.

 

I've been injured before - but the difference this time was I knew what to do.

 

With the right strategy and better tools at my disposal, I got to work. I kept moving. And I didn't let an injury stop me.

 

And now, I’m progressing to return to the national stage by next year (2027).
